Sec. 1. (a) This rule applies to all riverboat licensees.

(b) Riverboat licensees may only offer the game of roulette on a table and layout that are in compliance with 68 IAC 14.

(c) No patron shall be issued or permitted to play with nonvalue chips that are identical in color and design to value chips or to nonvalue chips being used by another patron at the same roulette table. When a patron purchases nonvalue chips, a nonvalue chip of the same color shall be placed in a slot or receptacle attached to the outer rim of the roulette wheel. At the same time, a marker or the equivalent denoting the value of a stack of twenty (20) nonvalue chips of that color shall be placed in the same slot or receptacle.

(d) The following definitions apply throughout this rule:

1. (1) "Black bet" means a wager placed on the numbers that are black.
2. (2) "Cash out" means the act of the patron exchanging nonvalue chips for value chips prior to leaving the roulette table.
3. (3) "Column bet" means a wager placed on all twelve (12) numbers in one (1) column.
4. (4) "Corner bet" means a wager placed on the four (4) numbers which form a corner.
5. (5) "Crown or dolly" means the point marker that is placed on the layout to indicate the compartment in which the roulette ball came to rest.
6. (6) "Dealer" means an occupational licensee of the riverboat licensee who is conducting the roulette game.

7. (7) "Dozen bet" means a wager placed on any of the following:

   1. (A) The numbers one (1) through twelve (12).
   2. (B) The numbers thirteen (13) through twenty-four (24).
   3. (C) The numbers twenty-five (25) through thirty-six (36).

8. (8) "Eighteen number bet" means a wager placed on one (1) of the following:

   1. (A) The numbers one (1) through eighteen (18).
   2. (B) The numbers nineteen (19) through thirty-six (36).
9. (9) "Even bet" means a wager placed on the even numbers of the roulette wheel.

10. (10) "Five number bet" means a wager placed on the following five (5) numbers:

    1. (A) Zero (0).
    2. (B) Double zero (00).
    3. (C) One (1).
    4. (D) Two (2).
    5. (E) Three (3).

11. (11) "Inside bet" means a wager within the field of thirty-eight (38) numbers corresponding with the numbers on the roulette wheel, including the following:

    1. (A) Corner bet.
    2. (B) Five number bet.
    3. (C) Line bet.
    4. (D) Row bet.
    5. (E) Split bet.
    6. (F) Straight up bet.
12. (12) "Line bet" means a wager placed on the six (6) numbers contained in two (2) rows.
13. (13) "Odd bet" means a wager placed on the odd numbers of the roulette wheel.

14. (14) "Outside bet" means a wager that is placed outside the field of thirty-eight (38) numbers, including the following:

    1. (A) Black bet.
    2. (B) Column bet.
    3. (C) Dozen bet.
    4. (D) Eighteen number bet.
    5. (E) Even bet.
    6. (F) Odd bet.
    7. (G) Red bet.
15. (15) "Red bet" means a wager placed on the numbers that are red.
16. (16) "Row or street bet" means a wager placed on the three (3) numbers in a row.
17. (17) "Split bet" means a wager placed on two (2) numbers.

18. (18) "Straight up bet" means a wager on the following:

    1. (A) Single number from one (1) to thirty-six (36).
    2. (B) Zero (0).
    3. (C) Double zero (00).
