Sec. 7. (a) The certification standard for Airport Firefighter shall be as set forth in Chapter 4 of the NFPA 1003, Standard for Airport Fire Fighter Professional Qualifications, 2019 edition.

(b) To qualify for entry into a certification course based on the certification standard described in subsection (a), an individual must hold a certification in Firefighter II prior to the date the certification course begins.
