Sec. 39. (a) The certification standard for Fire Inspector II shall be as set forth in Chapter 5 of the NFPA 1031, Standard for Professional Qualifications for Fire Inspector and Plan Examiner, 2014 edition.

(b) To qualify for entry into a certification course based on the certification standard described in subsection (a), an individual must hold a certification in Fire Inspector I.
