Sec. 1. The department's office for career and technical schools charges the following fees:

1. (1) In-state applications for authorization must be accompanied by an application fee of one thousand dollars ($1,000) for processing the application and evaluating the postsecondary proprietary educational institution.
2. (2) Out-of-state applications for authorization must be accompanied by an application fee of two thousand dollars ($2,000) for processing the application and evaluating the postsecondary proprietary educational institution.
3. (3) After an investigation and a finding that the information in the application for authorization is true and the postsecondary proprietary educational institution meets the minimum standards, the department shall issue an authorization to the postsecondary proprietary educational institution upon payment of an additional fee of fifty dollars ($50).
4. (4) An application for authorization renewal by an authorized in-state or out-of-state postsecondary proprietary educational institution must be accompanied by a fee of five hundred dollar [sic, dollars] ($500).
5. (5) An application for an agent's permit must be accompanied by a fee of twenty-five dollar [sic, dollars] ($25).
6. (6) An application for renewal of an agent's permit must be accompanied by a fee of ten dollars ($10).
