Sec. 4. "Employer" means:

1. (1) a person;
2. (2) a firm;
3. (3) a partnership;
4. (4) an association;
5. (5) a corporation;
6. (6) a limited liability company;
7. (7) a receiver; or
8. (8) another entity;

employing any person in this state.
