Sec. 7. (a) The governing body shall adopt a written mission statement for the school.

(b) The governing body shall ensure that the mission statement is:

1. (1) communicated effectively to staff, parents, students, and the governing body;
2. (2) operative in the school's practices, policies, and programs; and
3. (3) reviewed regularly and, when appropriate, revised.
