Sec. 2. (a) The definitions in this section apply throughout this rule.

(b) "Building level administrator" means a license holder who:

1. (1) holds a standard, provisional, proficient, or accomplished practitioner license with at least one (1) content area required under:

   1. (A) 511 IAC 15-1-1;
   2. (B) 511 IAC 15-2-1;
   3. (C) 511 IAC 15-3-1;
   4. (D) 511 IAC 15-4-1;
   5. (E) 511 IAC 15-5-1; and
2. (2) has direct authority over a beginning teacher as employed by an entity listed under section 1(a) [section 1] of this rule.

(c) "Supervisor" means a license holder who has:

1. (1) direct authority over a license holder as employed by an entity listed under section 1(a) [section 1] of this rule; and
2. (2) held a proficient practitioner license that includes any content area established under 511 IAC 15-6-1 through 511 IAC 15-6-23 or under 511 IAC 15-6-25 for at least five (5) years.
