Sec. 1. The purpose of this rule is to establish the procedures that the department will use to process requests for guardianship assistance under the federal Title IV-E guardianship assistance program (GAP) and state guardianship assistance program (SGAP) as authorized by 42 U.S.C. 673 and IC 31-9-2-17.8, respectively.
