Sec. 26. "Public health significance" means:

1. (1) the potential for causing diseases with symptoms, such as, but not limited to:

   1. (A) diarrhea;
   2. (B) fever;
   3. (C) jaundice;
   4. (D) vomiting or sore throat with fever; or
   5. (E) boils; or

2. (2) for diseases such as, but not limited to:

   1. (A) Salmonella spp.;
   2. (B) Shigella spp.;
   3. (C) Escherichia coli 0157:H7; or
   4. (D) Hepatitis A virus associated with foodborne or waterborne transmission that are reportable according to 410 IAC 1- 2.3.
