Sec. 1. (a) A person who does not have a current license, certificate, or permit issued by the department shall not operate a radiation machine or use radiopharmaceutical agents.

(b) The following are the radiation machine operator and radioactive materials user licenses and permits issued by the department:

1. (1) Radiologic technologist license.
2. (2) Radiation therapist license.
3. (3) Nuclear medicine technologist license.
4. (4) Student radiography permit.
5. (5) Student nuclear medicine permit.
6. (6) Student radiation therapy permit.
7. (7) Student dental radiography permit.
8. (8) Provisional radiography permit.
9. (9) Limited dental radiography license.
10. (10) Limited chest radiography license.
11. (11) Limited chiropractic radiography license.
12. (12) Limited general radiography license.
13. (13) Limited podiatric radiography license.
14. (14) Limited cardiac catheterization radiography license.

(c) The department may utilize nationally accepted testing services and review committees to assist in the administration of this article.
