Sec. 3. (a) The center must do the following:

1. (1) Develop, implement, and maintain a policy and procedure for the orientation of new employees, contractors, and agency personnel providing direct care and services to patients.
2. (2) Orientate all new employees, including contract and agency personnel, to applicable center and personnel policies.

(b) The center shall ensure cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) competence for adults and neonates in accordance with current standards of practice and center policy for all health care workers including contract and agency personnel who provide direct patient care.
