Sec. 2.5. Documentation of a face-to-face encounter for home health services in accordance with 42 CFR 440.70(f) is required for the following specified items:

1. (1) Specified items may include, but are not limited to, the following:

   1. (A) Decubitus care equipment.
   2. (B) Hospital beds and accessories.
   3. (C) Oxygen and related respiratory equipment.
   4. (D) Humidifiers, compressors, and nebulizers.
   5. (E) Monitoring devices.
   6. (F) Patient lifts.
   7. (G) Compression devices.
   8. (H) Ultraviolet light.
   9. (I) Nerve stimulators and devices.
   10. (J) Infusion supplies.
   11. (K) Traction equipment.
   12. (L) Wheelchairs and wheelchair accessories.
   13. (M) Whirlpool equipment.
   14. (N) Speech generating devices.
2. (2) Face-to-face encounters shall meet the requirements set forth in 42 U.S.C. 1395m(a)(11)(B)(ii).
