Sec. 1. Annually, on or before January first each year, the Clerk-Treasurer or City Controller shall certify to the 1977 Fund within the limits of IC 36-8-1-11 what constitutes the salary of a first class patrolman or firefighter for that employer for that calendar year on a form approved by INPRS.
