Sec. 24. For the administration of disability claims under IC 33-38-8-15, a licensed treating physician of the member may be designated by INPRS as a physician appointed by the board of trustees. However such designation shall not entitle the treating physician to remuneration or other compensation paid from INPRS unless there is an express written agreement signed by the parties in advance of any compensable services provided by the treating physician.
