Sec. 8. Camelidae, such as camels, llamas, and alpacas, that are required to be officially identified under IC 15-17 and this title must be identified by one (1) of the following methods:

1. (1) An official eartag.
2. (2) A tattoo.
3. (3) Electronic identification that complies with ISO 11784/11785.
4. (4) Non-ISO electronic identification applied to the animal on or before January 1, 2015.
5. (5) Digital photographs sufficient to identify the individual animal.
6. (6) Any other official identification number, device, or method approved by the state veterinarian to facilitate disease control.
