Sec. 21.1. (a) "Reclamation" means processing to recover or regenerate a distinct component of a secondary material.

(b) As used in this section, examples of "processing to recover" may include any of the following:

1. (1) Recovery of lead components from spent lead acid batteries.
2. (2) Recovery of metals from sludges, spent materials, or other metal bearing waste.
3. (3) Recovery of mercury from mercury-containing lamps or other devices.

(c) As used in this section, examples of "regenerate" may include any of the following:

1. (1) Distillation of spent solvent for reuse of the solvent.
2. (2) Regeneration of spent acids for reuse of the acids.
3. (3) Regeneration of spent carbons for reuse of the carbons.
