Sec. 3. (a) This article applies to a person who engages in septage management.

(b) This article does not apply to the following activities:

1. (1) Land application activities regulated under 327 IAC 6.1.
2. (2) Confined feeding operations regulated under 327 IAC 19.
3. (3) Waste management activities regulated under 329 IAC 3.1, 329 IAC 10, 329 IAC 11, 329 IAC 11.5, 329 IAC 12, and 329 IAC 13.

(c) A septage management permit is not required for activities exempt under IC 13-18-12-7.
