Sec. 8. A certified operator may possess a current certification in one (1) or more of the ten (10) classes of certified operators and may operate classifications of wastewater treatment plants as follows:

1. (1) A Class I-SP certified operator is certified to operate wastewater treatment plants classified as Class I-SP.
2. (2) A Class A-SO certified operator is certified to operate wastewater treatment plants classified as Class A-SO.

3. (3) A Class I certified operator is certified to operate wastewater treatment plants classified as:

   1. (A) Class I-SP;
   2. (B) Class I;
   3. (C) Class A-SO; and
   4. (D) Class A.

4. (4) A Class A certified operator is certified to operate wastewater treatment plants classified as:

   1. (A) Class A-SO; and
   2. (B) Class A.

5. (5) A Class II certified operator is certified to operate wastewater treatment plants classified as:

   1. (A) Class A-SO;
   2. (B) Class A;
   3. (C) Class I-SP;
   4. (D) Class I; and
   5. (E) Class II.

6. (6) A Class B certified operator is certified to operate wastewater treatment plants classified as:

   1. (A) Class A-SO;
   2. (B) Class A; and
   3. (C) Class B.

7. (7) A Class III certified operator is certified to operate wastewater treatment plants classified as:

   1. (A) Class A-SO;
   2. (B) Class A;
   3. (C) Class I-SP;
   4. (D) Class I;
   5. (E) Class II; and
   6. (F) Class III.

8. (8) A Class C certified operator is certified to operate wastewater treatment plants classified as:

   1. (A) Class A-SO;
   2. (B) Class A;
   3. (C) Class B; and
   4. (D) Class C.

9. (9) A Class IV certified operator is certified to operate wastewater treatment plants classified as:

   1. (A) Class A-SO;
   2. (B) Class A;
   3. (C) Class I-SP;
   4. (D) Class I;
   5. (E) Class II;
   6. (F) Class III; and
   7. (G) Class IV.

10. (10) A Class D certified operator is certified to operate wastewater treatment plants classified as:

    1. (A) Class A-SO;
    2. (B) Class A;
    3. (C) Class B;
    4. (D) Class C; and
    5. (E) Class D.
