Sec. 4. Each affected engine subject to this rule shall comply with the following requirements:

1. (1) Complete an initial performance test consistent with the requirements of 40 CFR 60, Appendix A*, following installation of emission controls required to achieve the emission rate limit specified in section 3(b) of this rule.

2. (2) Perform periodic monitoring sufficient to yield reliable data from the relevant time period that is representative of a source's compliance with the emission rate limit specified in section 3(b) of this rule. Such periodic monitoring may include any of the following:

   1. (A) Performance tests consistent with the requirements of:

      1. (i) 40 CFR 60, Appendix A*; or
      2. (ii) portable monitors using ASTM D6522-00*.
   2. (B) A parametric monitoring program that specifies operating parameters, and their ranges, that will provide reasonable assurance that each affected engine's emissions are consistent with the requirements of section 3 of this rule.
   3. (C) A predictive emissions measurement system that relies on automated data collection from instruments.
   4. (D) A continuous emission monitoring system (CEMS) that complies with 40 CFR 60* or 40 CFR 75* as required under 326 IAC 3-5.
