Sec. 8. "Firearm or bow and arrows" means:

1. (1) a firearm;
2. (2) an air gun;
3. (3) a CO2 gun;
4. (4) a spear gun;
5. (5) a bow and arrows;
6. (6) a crossbow;
7. (7) a paint gun; or
8. (8) a similar mechanical device;

that can be discharged and is capable of causing injury or death to a person or an animal or damage to property.
