Sec. 3. (a) The director may, by temporary order, modify or close public waters to boating if unusual conditions and hazards exist.

(b) A temporary order under subsection (a) may be issued to do any of the following:

1. (1) Close public waters to boating.
2. (2) Restrict boats to daytime operations.
3. (3) Prohibit the operation of motorboats.
4. (4) Limit boating to idle speed.
5. (5) Impose any other restriction appropriate under IC 14-15.
