Sec. 11. (a) This section establishes requirements for the use of centralizers in wells drilled after the effective date of this article to ensure that the casing string is centered in the well bore to provide for a uniform thickness of annulus cement in critical areas of the well bore identified under subsection (c).
(b) An owner or operator shall place centralizers at appropriate casing intervals according to generally accepted industry standards.
(c) Critical areas for purposes of this section include the following:
