Sec. 11.8. "Manmade channel" means a watercourse created by mechanical means that connects to the lake at one (1) or more points and by its construction increases the total length of shoreline around the lake. The term does not include any areas within the lake cleared by either chemical or mechanical means that do not result in an increase in the total length of shoreline around the lake.
