Sec. 18. (a) Written policy, procedure, and practice provide that an intake health screening commences upon the juvenile's arrival at the facility and is performed by a qualified health care professional or health trained staff. When health trained staff conducts the health screening, procedures shall require a subsequent review of positive findings by a qualified health care professional. The responsible health care practitioner, in cooperation with the health care authority and facility administrator, establishes written procedures and health screening protocols. All findings are recorded on a health screening form approved by the health care authority.
