Sec. 12. (a) Written policy, procedure, and practice provide that the following twenty-four (24) hour emergency services are available to the juvenile population:

1. (1) Medical.
2. (2) Dental.
3. (3) Mental health.

(b) Emergency services include the following:

1. (1) Onsite emergency first aid and crisis intervention.
2. (2) Emergency transportation of the juvenile from the facility.
3. (3) Use of one (1) or more designated hospital emergency rooms or other appropriate health facilities.

(c) This is a mandatory standard.
