Sec. 16. (a) Written policy, procedure, and practice provide that lighting in the facility is appropriate for the task being performed and at least twenty (20) foot-candles at desk level and in personal grooming areas.

(b) Natural light in sleeping rooms or common areas is available either from an opening or window that has a view to the outside or from a source within twenty (20) feet of the room.

(c) Measurements are documented by a qualified source at least every three (3) years.
