"Health care practitioner" defined

Sec. 10. "Health care practitioner" means an individual who:

(1) by virtue of their license is a:
1. (A) medical doctor;
2. (B) doctor of osteopathy;
3. (C) doctor of dental surgery;
4. (D) nurse practitioner;
5. (E) physician assistant; or
6. (F) clinical nursing specialist; and
(2) is able to:
1. (A) perform physical examinations;
2. (B) perform mental health examinations;
3. (C) evaluate health records;
4. (D) evaluate laboratory results; and
5. (E) prescribe medications.
