Sec. 1.2. (a) Driver training schools shall provide behind-the-wheel training that includes instruction on and demonstration of the following in a dual-controlled motor vehicle:

1. (1) Stopping.
2. (2) Starting.
3. (3) Shifting.
4. (4) Lane changing.
5. (5) Lane positioning.
6. (6) Merging.
7. (7) Signaling.
8. (8) Backing.
9. (9) Parallel parking.
10. (10) Steering.
11. (11) Speed zones.
12. (12) Intersections.
13. (13) General driving behavior.
14. (14) Dual lanes and multi-lanes.
15. (15) Managing space around the vehicle by adjusting speed and position to avoid conflicts and reduce risk.
16. (16) Sharing the road with other vehicles with special emphasis on motorcycles, bicycles, and large trucks.
17. (17) Distracted driving.
18. (18) Roundabouts.

(b) If present within a twenty (20) minute radius of the location of the driver training school, a driver training school shall provide behind-the-wheel training that includes instruction on and demonstration of the following in a dual-controlled motor vehicle:

1. (1) School zones.
2. (2) Railroad highway grade crossing safety.
3. (3) Roundabouts.
