Sec. 3. (a) The bureau may audit or investigate an owner or school to confirm compliance with Indiana laws and rules related to driver training.

(b) Each school shall keep the following records in its primary place of business and available for inspection by the bureau:

1. (1) Documents demonstrating the school's qualifications to hold a license.

2. (2) Student records for each student of the school for the previous two (2) years that include the following information:

   1. (A) Name.
   2. (B) Address.
   3. (C) Date of birth.
   4. (D) Date of course commencement.
   5. (E) Date of course completion.
   6. (F) Names of the instructors who provided driver training.
   7. (G) Types of instruction completed.
   8. (H) Numbers of hours of instruction completed.
   9. (I) Official driving skills test score sheets, if applicable.
3. (3) A copy of the route or routes used by the school in administering a skills test.

(c) A school shall permit representatives of the bureau to inspect and copy its records and inspect its premises during the bureau's normal operating hours.
