Sec. 2. The following definitions apply throughout this rule:
- (1) "Amendment fee" means an administrative fee imposed when a permit must be changed after it has been ordered.
- (2) "Base fee" means a fixed fee imposed on all vehicles that exceed the legal length, width, height, or weight limits for vehicles.
- (3) "Bridge review fee" means an administrative fee imposed when a route is reviewed to determine the weight limitations of a bridge or bridges on the route. A bridge review fee is imposed for each bridge on the route and is in addition to the base permit fee.
- (4) "Cancellation fee" means an administrative fee imposed when a permit is canceled by the permittee for any reason.
- (5) "Design fee" means an administrative fee imposed for superload permits where the vehicle weighs more than two hundred thousand (200,000) pounds.
- (6) "Executive fee" means an administrative fee imposed for overweight permits where the vehicle weighs more than one hundred eight thousand (108,000) pounds.
- (7) "Per mile fees" means milage fees based on the weight of the vehicle.
- (8) "Preapproval superload permit" means a permit issued under a preapproval number.
- (9) "Review fee" means an administrative fee imposed when a route must be reviewed by the department before a permit may be issued.
- (10) "Sealed ocean container" means a sealed container that has not been opened, except by an agent of the federal government to inspect the contents.
(11) "Superload" means a vehicle that is:
- (A) more than fifteen (15) feet high;
- (B) more than sixteen (16) feet wide; or
- (C) more than one hundred ten (110) feet long.
- (12) "Superload amendment fee" means an administrative fee imposed when a superload permit must be changed after it has been ordered.
- (13) "Time amendment fee" means an administrative fee imposed to extend the expiration of a permit.
