The advisory board consists of the following eight (8) members:

1. (1) The commissioner or the commissioner's designee.

2. (2) The following seven (7) members, all appointed by the commissioner:

   1. (A) Two (2) members representing the bureau.
   2. (B) One (1) member representing the department of insurance.
   3. (C) Three (3) members representing insurance companies, recommended by the Insurance Industry Committee on Motor Vehicle Administration.
   4. (D) One (1) member representing an independent insurance agency.
