Notwithstanding IC 9-20-1-1 through IC 9-20-1-2 , and except for length exclusive devices in accordance with 23 CFR 658.13, the following are the maximum limitations on length of a truck-tractor-semitrailer-semitrailer combination:

1. (1) The maximum length of each semitrailer unit operating in a truck-tractor-semitrailer-semitrailer combination is twenty-eight
2. (28) feet, six (6) inches.

3. (2) A maximum length limit is not imposed on a truck-tractor-semitrailer-semitrailer combination.
