- (a) Before the department may proceed with contract letting for any project for which the whole project or any part of the project is estimated to cost at least two hundred fifty million dollars ($250,000,000) in any single county the project must be reviewed by the budget committee.
- (b) Not later than December 31, 2026, and not later than December 31 of each calendar year thereafter, the department shall annually present to the budget committee an update on the department's long range comprehensive transportation plans.
