Ind. Code § 8-23-2-2

Commissioner; appointment; compensation

As added by P.L.112-1989, SEC.5.

(a) The governor shall appoint a commissioner who is responsible for organizing and administering the department.
(b) The commissioner:
1. (1) serves at the pleasure of the governor; and
2. (2) is entitled to receive compensation set by the budget agency.
