Ind. Code § 8-1-13-37

Investigation by commission on its own motion; rates, service, or territory

As added by P.L.121-1987, SEC.14.

Whenever the commission believes that:

  1. (1) any rate or charge may be unreasonable or unjustly discriminatory;
  2. (2) any service is inadequate or cannot be obtained; or
  3. (3) an investigation of any matter relating to rates or territory for a corporation should be made;

    it may, on its own motion, conduct an investigation with or without notice.
