(a) A:

1. (1) proprietor of a drug store;

2. (2) corporation holding:

   1. (A) an artisan distiller's permit;
   2. (B) a distiller's permit;
   3. (C) a brewer's permit;
   4. (D) a wholesaler's permit; or
   5. (E) a permit to retail or deal in alcoholic beverages; or

3. (3) wholesale drug company or a person who is the proprietor of a wholesale drug company;

   may not own or control or participate in the permit of a package liquor store, or in its business, or in its establishment.

(b) A person who knowingly or intentionally violates this section commits a Class B misdemeanor.
