As used in this chapter, "targeted employment" means employment in any of the following business activities:

1. (1) Advanced manufacturing, including the following:

   1. (A) Automotive and electronics.
   2. (B) Aerospace technology.
   3. (C) Robotics.
   4. (D) Engineering design technology.

2. (2) Life sciences, including the following:

   1. (A) Orthopedics or medical devices.
   2. (B) Biomedical research or development.
   3. (C) Pharmaceutical manufacturing.
   4. (D) Agribusiness.
   5. (E) Nanotechnology or molecular manufacturing.

3. (3) Information technology, including the following:

   1. (A) Informatics.
   2. (B) Certified network administration.
   3. (C) Software development.
   4. (D) Fiber optics.

4. (4) Twenty-first century logistics, including the following:

   1. (A) High technology distribution.
   2. (B) Efficient and effective flow and storage of goods, services, or information.
   3. (C) Intermodal ports.
