1. (a) Whenever the attorney general has reasonable cause to believe a person or entity may be an affiliate of a foreign terrorist organization, the attorney general may exercise all existing civil investigative powers, including the issuance of civil investigative demands, to determine whether the entity is an affiliate of a foreign terrorist organization.
2. (b) If the attorney general determines, based on the attorney general's investigation, that a person or entity is an affiliate of a foreign terrorist organization, the attorney general shall notify the person or entity of the attorney general's determination and provide the entity with thirty (30) days in which to submit a formal response to the attorney general's determination.
3. (c) The attorney general shall provide the attorney general's determination, the evidence on which it is based, and the person's or entity's response to the governor.
