As used in this chapter, "affiliate of a foreign terrorist organization" means a person who:

1. (1) is or was an agent, representative, employee, or servant of a foreign terrorist organization;
2. (2) acts or acted in any capacity at the order or request or under the direction or control of a foreign terrorist organization; or
3. (3) provides, or at any point in the preceding five (5) years provided, material support or resources to aid a foreign terrorist organization.
