Moral character; felony conviction or indictment

A person may not be appointed to the commission if:
- (1) the person is not of good moral character; or
(2) the person:
- (A) has been convicted of; or
(B) is under indictment for;
a felony under Indiana law, the laws of any other state, or laws of the United States.
