Ind. Code § 4-15-2.2-49

Grounds for dismissal; failure to appear; failure to testify

As added by P.L.229-2011, SEC.56.

The refusal or failure of an employee in the state classified service to do any of the following is sufficient grounds for the employee's dismissal by the appointing authority:

  1. (1) The employee willfully refuses or fails to appear before:

    1. (A) a court or judge;
    2. (B) a legislative committee; or
    3. (C) an officer, board, or body authorized to conduct a hearing or inquiry.
  2. (2) After making an appearance, the employee refuses to testify or answer questions relating to:

    1. (A) the affairs or government of the state; or
    2. (B) the conduct of any officer or employee.
