- (a) Classification titles or corresponding code numbers must be used to designate positions in all personnel, accounting, budget, appropriation, and financial records and communications of all state departments, institutions, and agencies.
- (b) A person may not be appointed to or employed in a position in the state civil service unless the director has approved the class title of the position as appropriate to the duties to be performed.
