Chief information officer

As added by P.L.177-2005, SEC.9.
  1. (a) The governor shall appoint a chief information officer of the office, who serves at the pleasure of the governor.
  2. (b) The chief information officer:

    1. (1) is the executive head of the office;
    2. (2) is responsible for strategic planning and the architecture for information technology functions of state government; and
    3. (3) shall provide leadership for information technology issues facing state agencies.
