(a) The state comptroller shall prepare and publish each year a report showing receipts by source of revenue and by type of fund disbursements as they relate to each agency, department, and fund of the state government. This report shall include a recital of disbursements made by the following functions of state government:
- (1) Education.
- (2) Welfare.
- (3) Highway.
- (4) Health.
- (5) Natural resources.
- (6) Public safety.
- (7) General governmental.
- (8) Hospital and state institutions.
- (9) Correction, parole, and probation.
- (b) The report described in this section shall be made available for inspection as soon as the report is prepared and shall be published in the manner provided in section 7 of this chapter by the state comptroller not later than December 31 following the end of each fiscal year.
