- (a) If repairs to a system become necessary, the county must give written notice to the contractor to make the repairs. If the contractor fails to begin the repairs not later than thirty
- (30) days after the notice is received, the county may do the following:
- (1) Make the repairs using the county's own employees or an independent contractor.
- (2) Recover from the contractor and the contractor's sureties the reasonable cost of the repairs and the cost of the supervision and inspection of the repairs.
- (b) At the expiration of the guarantee period, the county has sixty
- (60) days in which to notify the contractor of any necessary repairs.
