Ind. Code § 36-8-28-1

"Local unit"

As added by P.L.230-2025, SEC.147.

As used in this chapter, "local unit" means any:

(1) unit as defined in IC 36-1-2-23 ;
(2) fire protection district established under IC 36-8-11 ; or
(3) fire protection territory established under IC 36-8-19 .
