Ind. Code § 36-7-18-6 – Commissioners not officers or employees of unit; exceptions

(a) Except as provided in subsection (b), a commissioner of a housing authority may not be an officer or employee of the unit for which the authority is created.
(b) A member of a redevelopment commission established by a unit under IC 36-7-14 may be a commissioner of a housing authority of the unit.
