- (a) For purposes of this chapter, the acreage of the territory sought to be annexed that is covered by a public or private lake shall not be considered when determining whether the territory meets the population density or subdivision percentages required by this chapter.
- (b) This section does not affect the definition of "contiguous" prescribed by section 1.5 of this chapter.
