Ind. Code § 36-2-2.5-5

Transfer or assumption of tangible and intangible property; actions and appointments of board of county commissioners remain valid

As added by P.L.77-2014, SEC.15.
  1. (a) On January 1, 2019, all property, assets, funds, equipment, records, rights, contracts, obligations, and liabilities of the board of county commissioners of a county are transferred to or assumed by the single county executive.
  2. (b) The abolishment of the board of county commissioners of a county on January 1, 2019, does not invalidate any:

    1. (1) ordinances, resolutions, fees, schedules, or other actions adopted or taken by the board of county commissioners before the board is abolished; or
    2. (2) appointments made by the board of county commissioners before the board is abolished.
