Ind. Code § 36-10-7-3 – Townships; programs, facilities, or services; tax levy; appropriation

(a) This section applies to all townships.
(b) The township executive may:
1. (1) levy a tax; and
2. (2) use appropriated township funds;
  to pay for recreation programs, facilities (including a community center used for recreational purposes), or services.
